T-Mobile Offers Release Dates For The Galaxy Tab 10.1 & Springboard Tablets [T-Mobile Upcoming Releases Include The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 On November 2nd & The T-Mobile Springboard On November 9th]
T-Mobile offered up the official announcement for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Springboard tablets earlier in the month and like many of these types of announcements — it arrived without anything specific in terms of a release date.

At the time, T-Mobile had simply stated that both devices would be available “in time for the holidays.” And well, it looks like they have (or will) be keeping true to their word. Coming this morning, we now have an official release date for both tablets.
And perhaps a bit nicer, the release dates for both are coming up relatively soon. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will arrive on November 2nd and the T-Mobile Springboard will arrive about a week later on November 9th. That being said, we are still left wondering what the pricing will be, but given the release dates are coming up sooner rather than later, we suspect the pricing will be announced fairly soon.
Otherwise, a brief recap on the features seems to be in order. Lets begin with some of the shared features – both will arrive running Android 3.2 Honeycomb and with support for the T-Mobile 4G network.

Moving onto the individual devices, lets begin with the one that many will already be familiar with, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. This, as the name implies, brings a 10.1 inch display. In addition, the Galaxy Tab will have a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and a weight of 1.24 pounds, which according to the PR speak — makes it “one of the thinnest and lightest 10-inch tablets on the market.” The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will also have support for T-Mobile TV and come with the Samsung Media Hub pre-loaded.
Next up, the T-Mobile Springboard, which will be made by Huawei. This tablet will have a 7 inch display along with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, microSD card slot, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear facing camera. In addition, the Springboard will also come with pre-loaded support for a wide variety of media related apps. The goodies will include Netflix, Blockbuster On Demand, T-Mobile TV and a few others.
With that, now it looks like we just need to learn the pricing.
