Archos 35 Home Connect Now Available
Archos announced their Home Connect home appliance device way back in late-June, and well, since then word on the Archos 35 Home Connect has been rather quiet. But that being said, Archos has just recently passed on the good word that the device is now available for sale.

The question comes in with where it is available for sale. The details are coming by way of the Archos Facebook page where they have stated the good news as how the “ARCHOS 35 Home Connect is now available on ARCHOS store.” Anyway, from what we can see, the device is indeed available for sale, however the availability is a bit limited at the moment.
In fact, the only Archos store that we can find it on at the moment is the Archos France store. In terms of pricing, that comes as 129.99 €. And while we cannot say when, we do suspect the other Archos stores will begin showing the device as available.
Otherwise, for those who may have missed or forgotten about the features of the Archos 35 Home Connect considering the original announcement was so far back, we will offer a quick recap. But first, just to begin with, the Home Connect will fall into the home appliance category and should function nicely in the kitchen or even a bedside table as an alarm clock.
The features include a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and Android 2.2 Froyo. The device also has a pair of built-in speakers which are said to bring “amazing sound.” Other features include Wi-Fi, microUSB, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a front facing VGA quality camera with microphone for your video chatting needs.
Bottom line, the Archos 35 Home Connect is now available for those in France and we here at TFTS will be on the lookout for availability in other countries.
