Motorola RAZR Pre-orders Available in Australia, Sans the Droid [Optus Opens Motorola RAZR Orders, Includes “Work, Play & Drive” Kit Deal; Release Date Pegged for November 1]
Just like we told you earlier, the recently announced Motorola Droid RAZR will be sold in various international markets this year. The phone will be simply called the Motorola RAZR, and apparently Australia is one such market where the RAZR will be available soon.

In fact, the Android handset is already available for pre-order with Optus, which seems to be the RAZR’s exclusive carrier in the region. The phone will cost AUD$0 when purchased with a two-year AUD$79 per month Optus Cap Plan that includes 3GB of Internet traffic and it will be shipped to your door on November 1-3 (depending on your location) in case you buy it by October 28.

By selecting the AUD$79 per month plan, RAZR buyers will also get the “Work, Play & Drive Kit,” a special accessories bundle for the handset which will include the following:
- HD Mulitmedia Dock
- 18W Power supply
- HDMI Cable
- Motorola Android BT Keyboard I
- Motorola BT Mouse
- Active Car Cradle and mount
- 3.5mm cable
- Car charger
The Kit is valued at AUD$298, and it’s a great deal especially if you were going to get the AUD$79 per month plan anyway. The Lapdock is obviously not included in the bundle above and you’ll have to purchase it later in case you want to use RAZR’s Webtop-powered laptop capabilities.
