Steve Jobs Biography Available via iBookstore in Australia, Amazon Releases It Early

Earlier today we told you Apple is going to let non-Apple employees watch the celebration dedicated to Steve Jobs, which is available now via the company’s website. But those of you that want to know more about the iconic Apple leader can already buy the official “Steve Jobs” biography, which is already available in eBook format.


The digital copy of Walter Isaacson’s 448-page incursion in Jobs’ life can be purchased from the Apple’s iBookstore and Amazon’s Kindle store. The book is supposed to launch tomorrow, on October 24, when customers will also be able to pick up the actual paperback version, which has been made available in certain locations a few days ahead of the official release date.

In fact, customers that have pre-ordered the biography from Amazon, or are thinking about buying it from the Kindle store, can already get their copy, a few hours before midnight.

As for Apple’s iBookstore, Australians can now purchase their “Steve Jobs” copy already since it’s already October 24 over there, across the time zones. Everyone else will get their chance of purchasing the book after midnight (or getting access to it in case it’s already paid for) so go get your reading devices ready to find out more details of the unknown side of Jobs.

Apple’s co-founder and former CEO passed away on October 5 at 56 years of age, after battling cancer for the most part of the last seven years. Isaacson’s biography has been pushed up to October 24 after initially being expected to hit shelves in November and the book has been already analyzed by various websites that got their hands on an advanced copy.
