Motorola Droid RAZR Specs, Features, Pricing & Release Date Official
Prepare to act surprise when I tell you that the main device unveiled during Motorola’s mobile event that’s currently underway is the Motorola Droid RAZR, an Android flagship smartphone ready to tempt you in stores this fall.

As rumored before, Motorola decided to bring that RAZR brand name back from the dead, therefore you can forget the other names we’ve seen for the device so far, the Spyder and the Droid HD.

The Droid RAZR is expected to be “thinner, stronger, faster, smarter” and we’ll show you its official specs and features that back-up the use of those adjectives:
- 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD touchscreen display
- scratch-resistant corning Gorilla Glass
- 7.1mm profile – the world’s thinnest smartphone
- precision machined stainless steel core
- laminated construction for enhanced rigidity
- Kevlar back coating
- Motorola Splash Guard nanotechnology (water-proof capabilities)
- Dual-core 1.2GHz processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 8-megapixel camera with 1,080p HD Video recording support
- Battery: 12.5 hours talk time, 8.9 hours of video playback
- webtop technology
- Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread
- Moto Cast – personal cloud support
- Enterprise features: Citix Receiver, GoToMeeting, Videoconference with HD webcam
- Business Ready: Corporate email access, Corporate calendar and addresses, Microsoft Office documents support
- Security capabilities: FIPS 140-2 government-grade data encryption, remote wipe of device and SD card
- Accessories: Elite Silver BT Headset, Universal Travel Charger, P893 Portable Power Pack, 10.1-inch Lapdock 100, 14.1-inch Lapdock 500 Pro, Vehicle Navigation Dock, HD Station and HD Dock, Wireless Keyboard with Trackpad Mouse
- Moto ACTV compatibility
- 4G LTE via Verizon

The Droid RAZR has some impressive characteristics and on top of its smart features we can’t help but notice that it seems to be a very durable device, certainly beating some of its direct rivals. The phone is incredibly thin, which makes its LTE capabilities and outstanding battery life all the more impressive, at least on paper.

Luckily for you, the handset will be launched in November, probably on the 10th, with pre-orders starting on October 27. As expected the Droid RAZR will cost $299 with two-year contracts, the regular price for an LTE-equipped Android smartphone launched by Verizon. The off contract price is $600 and the phone will sell as the RAZR in worldwide markets, starting with November.

“7.1-inch profile – the world’s thinnest smartphone” A typo?
correction: 7.1 mm not 7.1 inch
Yes, a typo, thanks for the heads up. It’s 7.1mm obviously. Corrected now.
By any chance is there an ATT version of this phone?
There will be an international version of the phone which should work on AT&T.
4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD touchscreen display
What’s the resolution? qHD? that could mean anything.
Found it –540 x 960 pixels
For comparison iPhone 4S = 640 X 960…. so still need some work here Motorola but close….
Looks like an awesome phone except it has the exact same camera as the bionic and droid 3 which takes crappy pictures that have a bluish tent to them. Moto needs to step it up with their camras.
7.1mm ‘profile’ — does that mean the thick part at the top of the phone is 7.1mm, or the skinnier main body of the phone? Because if it’s the thick part, and the rest of the phone is even thinner, that’s pretty impressive! But if the 7.1mm is referring to the skinny part, then they can hardly call this the thinnest smartphone when there’s a big thick chunk at the top sticking out way past 7.1mm!
It’s the thin part of course – just like Samsung mentions the thinness of the thin part disregarding the chunkier part that includes the antenna.
has anyone seen the accessories with this thing? what does this connect to ?
