Galaxy Nexus: Release Date & Pricing Detailed
So, we’ve been given plenty of things about both the Galaxy Nexus and Ice Cream Sandwich to look forward to, but now the big questions: how much will it cost and when will it launch? Unfortunately, Google and Samsung didn’t give us too much to go off of, but when you couple what they did say along with some of the rumors that have been going around, we have a pretty good idea.

First off, the stuff that’s been confirmed by Google and Samsung: the Galaxy Nexus will be launching in the United States and Japan sometime next month. Unfortunately, they didn’t want to give a more specific release date or even talk about the price, but that’s where the rumors come in.
According to some rumors making the rounds on the internet, Verizon might be getting the Galaxy Nexus on November 10th, and it’ll cost a total of $299.99 with a two-year contract. If you want to buy an unlocked phone outright without a contract, it’ll set you back a full $600, or so the rumors say.
Samsung has yet to officially confirm anything but the November release window, so take this information with a grain of salt. You can bet that when official prices and release dates are announced, though, we’ll have that information for you right here at TFTS!

Can I borrow 300 dollars?
Wow! Very informative!
I’m elegible for an upgrade in December, with $300 I’m gonna go and get an iPhone 4S for myself and a white iPhone 4 for my girlfriend. Never had a problem with iPhones and I still have the unlimited data plan from when I signed up. Cool with me…
Well worth the price and will explode with sales. It will definitely compete and outperform Apple 4S.
$300.00 will buy you an ice cream sandwich.
It will most likely not outsell the iPhone. The Galaxy Nexus is a phone for people who are looking for a specific kind of phone. the iPhone is for everyone else. The iPhones sales will be higher:/ Though, the Nexus will, I think, see the same kind of fame as the Galaxy SII
I agree that the Galaxy Nexus most likely won’t outsell the iPhone because iPhone is for people who want everything done for them and they don’t want to customize their phones at all. Android is for people who like to tweak their phones, customize it to the earths end, but have a bug or two every now and again. The GN will probably do better than the GS2 though.
I will be more than glad to purchase the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon… WHY??? Because it is everything the iPhone isn’t. If you want something simple and love music you go right ahead and purchase that silly iphone. If you are into computers and tinkering as well as just love everything customization then you purchase everything android. This comparison apple to google is totally silly there really is no real comparison android devices are computers iphones are toys fake wanna be computers definitely not true computer experience. Sorry iPhone fanboys but as usual your behind the curve as usual your only fooling yourself if you think your not.
iPhones are for the feint of heart. for those who wanna get down to it….its android all the way. root trumps jailbreak. i think my grandma has an iPhone now.
