Best Buy Canada Lowers iPhone 4 Prices, Now As Low As Free On-Contract

We suspect that many of the TFTS readers, or at least the ones that are super pumped in terms of Apple will be heading out to pick up an iPhone 4S this morning. And while that will certainly make for a nice deal, or a fun deal given the recent humor surrounding Siri — Best Buy Canada has announced a decent Free Phone Fridays offer for those who are willing to pick up an iPhone 4.

That being said, the details are coming by way of the Best Buy Canada website. More specifically, the Free Fun Fridays promotional page on that site. And for those not as familiar with this offer, it breaks down as follows;

“Every Friday in October, Best Buy Mobile is offering a different smartphone for FREE with 3-year new activation!”

Needless to say, today’s offer is on the iPhone 4, where those interested can pick it up for just $0.01. Sure, not quite free, but close enough. Anyway, there are a few catches with this offer. First, this offer is valid for today only. In other words, you will need to head on out and, sign your agreement and make the purchase today October 14th or you will miss out. Second, this offer is only valid with select carriers. Those carriers include Bell, Telus and Virgin Mobile.

Otherwise, both Fido and Rogers have a low priced but not quite free iPhone 4 available at $49.99. And just to clarify, this special pricing for the iPhone 4 is for the 16GB model.

And lastly, it also looks like certain carriers have certain colors available. According to Best Buy Canada, it looks like Bell and Virgin Mobile will have the iPhone 4 in white with Telus offering the black model. And as for the Fido and Rogers part of the deal, those include a black iPhone with Fido and a white iPhone with Rogers.
