Verizon Ships Out Some iPhone 4S Units Early
After the most recent Apple keynote wrapped, and no Apple iPhone 5 was announced, I wondered what the public reaction would be. Would the fans rage or would they be won over by Siri? From what I’ve observed, both actually happened. There was some initial rage over the lack of an iPhone 5, but a lot of people were eventually won over.

And by a “lot,” I mean a LOT — iPhone 4S preorder numbers of 1 million on the first day suggest 3 million sales at opening weekend, that project total sales of 25 million units by the fourth quarter of 2011. A small percentage of those people has been receiving iPhone 4S units early like AppleInsider reader Casey Calouette.

1Casey apparently found himself the lucky recipient of an early iPhone 4S from Verizon. The unit arrived at his doorstep this Wednesday way before most of us can get our paws on one. Lucky chap. How about you? Are you itching to get your hands on an iPhone 4S?
