HTC Flyer Now Available With US Cellular, $399.99 On A Two-Year Agreement & Available From Today
We had previously learned that US Cellular was planning to launch the HTC Flyer tablet, except the information that we saw suggested a launch was coming in August. Needless to say, everyone should realize that August has come and gone without anything in terms of a release. But that being said, the good news has arrived for anyone that may have been waiting — the HTC Flyer is officially available from US Cellular as of today.

As far as the pricing goes, there are two options to consider. Sadly though, they both seem a bit pricey as compared to the $299 price tag that Best Buy currently has. Granted, Best Buy only has a Wi-Fi only model and these US Cellular tablets are 3G equipped, but still.
Anyway, before I dive any further off course, lets shift back to the task at hand — the price of the HTC Flyer with US Cellular. Those looking to make the purchase can opt to pay $399.99 on a two-year agreement or pay $599.99 to go contract free. And just for your information, both of those prices come AFTER a $100 mail-in rebate.
Those who buy under the $399.99 on-contract price point will have a few plans to consider, both of which have 5GB of monthly data. You can get the straight data pan for $54.99 which includes pay as you go messaging for $0.25 per message or opt for the $74.99 per month plan which includes the data along with unlimited messaging.
For those opting for the $599.99 price point, you can get the tablet with a 200MB per month data plan. Again, there are two options here, the $14.99 per month plan which includes your data and pay as you go messaging for $0.25 per message and one for $34.99 per month which includes the data and unlimited messaging.
And lastly, a quick recap on the specs show a device that is sporting a 7 inch display, a 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 5 megapixel rear facing camera and Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC’s Sense user interface on top. Of course, the usual goodies including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS can also be found.
