Verizon Wireless Lowers iPhone 4 Pricing, Further Details iPhone 4S Pre-Order Availability

We already knew that Verizon Wireless would be offering the iPhone 4S, along with the iPhone 4. But that being said, it looks like they have since released some additional details in terms of the launch. Plus, the price of the iPhone 4 has been lowered and the 8GB iPhone 4 has also come available for pre-order as of today.

And before anyone gets super excited, the pre-orders for today are only for the 8GB iPhone 4, which is selling for $99.99. In terms of the 16GB and 32GB iPhone 4 prices, those have been lowered to $149.99 and $199.99 respectively which for those keeping track — is a savings of $50. The 16GB and 32GB iPhone 4′s are currently available and shipping, however the 8GB iPhone 4 is not expected to begin shipping until October 13th.

Moving on to the new iPhone, the 4S, this model will be available for pre-order beginning tomorrow October 7th.

Verizon Wireless customers, as well as those who want to make iPhone 4S their reason to switch to the nation’s most reliable network, will be able to pre-order iPhone 4S online beginning on Friday, October 7 at 3:01 a.m. EDT at:www.verizonwireless.com/iPhone.

The iPhone 4S will be available in three storage options — 16GB, 32GB and 64GB which will be selling for $199.99, $299.99 and $399.99 respectively. And lastly, the iPhone 4S will be available beginning a week after the pre-orders begin — on October 14th.

Bottom line here, now looks like a good time to begin making those plans. Well, that is assuming you are planning to upgrade or purchase new. Me personally, while I probably would have kept the iPhone 4, I am going to upgrade to a 4S and pass the iPhone 4 down to my daughter to move her from two devices (a Droid Eris and iPod touch) to just one — my old iPhone.
