Steve Jobs, Iconic Apple Leader & Innovator Passes Away
When I first started sharing my thoughts on the tech events that surround us with those of you similarly passionate about technology I never expected I would deliver this particular news so soon. Steve Jobs, age 56, passed away today, a day after Apple’s last major press event of the year.

Apple has posted the short message above on the company’s website while the company’s board of directors issued a brief statement on the death of the Apple’s co-founder and iconic former leader:
We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.
Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.
His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Wow, I was shocked to hear that Steve Jobs has passed away. I wish him to be well remembered. It’s a great loss to everyone. What’s amazing is how he worked so hard right up to the very end.
