Nokia Searay & Sabre, First Two Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Smartphones from Finnish Maker? [Microsoft Reveals Nokia WP7.5 Smartphone Product Names Ahead of Launch]

Apple and Samsung are about to unveil new flagship devices in October, the fifth-generation iPhone and the next Nexus smartphone, but Nokia doesn’t appear to be ready to finally make official its upcoming Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphones.

The Mango update has started rolling out already, and HTC and Samsung have already announced the first Windows Phone 7.5 handsets. Meanwhile Nokia is only rumored to launch at least one Mango handset by the end of the year.

Luckily for WP7 fans, one can always count on Microsoft when it comes to things not done right. The company listed four Windows Phone 7.5 product names on a contest page, with two of them being Nokia devices.

Besides the Searay, which got leaked a while ago, there’s one more Nokia WP7 handset coming soon, the Nokia Sabre. The device is rumored to be a 3.7-inch handset supporting microSIM cards, but nothing is yet official. What’s sure is that the Sabre and the Searay may be potential prizes in a Microsoft Canada Mango competition:

“The estimated retail value of the phone is $600.00. The type of Windows Phone 7.5 will vary and will be selected at Microsoft’s choosing (examples include Samsung Yukon, Samsung Wembley, NOKIA Searay and NOKIA Sabre)”

Those four names, including two Samsung devices, the Yukon and Wembley, have been removed since initial discovery but the harm has been done. Redmond apparently revealed the names of new Nokia Mango handsets, and you’ll have to agree that from this year’s new Windows Phone lineup the unannounced Nokia devices are most interesting.

Microsoft made sure it got Nokia as a Windows Phone partner in early 2011 so we’re certainly interested to see what the Finnish smartphone maker can do with a totally new OS, one that’s fairly interesting despite not being that popular yet.

Will you buy a new Windows Phone 7.5 handset this year? Will you choose a Nokia Searay or Sabre by any chance?

I am waiting from last two years for a nokia’s best mobile ever but nokia is not launching any phone running on windows 7 or android software which are the most popular now a days.
Nokia should also concern about their mobile’s processing speed which is very slow.
AND one thing also it should also think to make android phones which would increase their sale many times.

not interested in a windows phone bcz they come with a high initial cost and are not customisable unlike android phones which are.also the biggest problem is the security issues which always linger with windows platform.it is really dangerous getting a phone hacked than a pc.also each app and future updates are to be bought from microsoft while many apps and upgrades are virtually free on android.also hardware works fine with android since its platform is based on linux known to work best even on the meagerly provided.
