Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Tablet Announced For T-Mobile

It seems to have been a busy week for T-Mobile. We saw them announce the Samsung Galaxy S II, the HTC Amaze 4G and the HTC Radar 4G — all nicely equipped smartphones. And well, it looks like they have another device in the pipeline, a tablet.

Thankfully, this is an announcement as opposed to the denial of a handset, of which we watched as T-Mobile let everyone know that the iPhone 5 would not be coming — not once, but twice. That being said, this latest device is one of those geek turned chic devices — its an Android tablet. And we suspect there are more than a few who have already guessed so without any further adieu, T-Mobile has announced their plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The news is rather light on actual details and has arrived by way of both Facebook and Twitter where they have posted similar messages.

This week, we announced the fastest Galaxy in our smartphone universe. Today, we can confirm that we’ll be adding yet another great Galaxy to our lineup: the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks on this awesome tablet.

With that, we suspect we will end up seeing the coming soon teaser page launch sooner rather than later. But in addition, we hope that they will offer a proper announcement with a release date and pricing. Then again, we suspect that they may have wanted to wait at least past this morning that way they were not going to be overshadowed by all the Kindle coverage.

Otherwise, we have all seen the specs and details on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the past so we will not bore you with all those yet again. But on the flip side of that, there is one question that we do have in terms of connectivity — we suspect that T-Mobile will not be selling the Wi-Fi only version, however we wonder if the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will arrive with 4G or 3G network support.
