Rockstar Confirms L.A. Noire Complete Edition For PC

L.A. Noire Complete Edition Coming To PC In November, Rockstar Reveals Pricing & System Requirements

Well that was fast: it was just last week that details about an L.A. Noire Complete Edition were leaked in the Czech Republic and now, as predicted, Rockstar has confirmed the new edition for PC release. It isn’t that far off either, with Rockstar saying that it’ll be out in early November – you can find more details and the system specifications after the break.

First off, this L.A. Noire Complete Edition appears to be for PC-only. This is the PC version that Rockstar Leeds has been working on for quite some time now, and when it arrives it’ll come with all of the DLC cases released for L.A. Noire so far.

Two of these DLC cases will be the pre-order bonuses early adopters were rewarded with – The Naked City and A Slip of the Tongue. The other three will be the DLC cases that launched after release – Nicholson Electroplating, Reefer Madness, and the PS3-exclusive The Consul’s Car.

L.A. Noire Complete Edition will launch in North America on November 8th for $49.99, while European gamers get it on November 11th for £39.99/€49.99. As a nice little bonus, L.A. Noire Complete Edition will come complete with support for NVIDIA 3D Vision as well, for those of you who have a computer that pull off such fancy tricks.

So, L.A. Noire is definitely coming to PC and it will be arriving soon. That’s great news, but now we’ll get to the meat and potatoes of this article: the system specifications. While they’re not as hefty as the recently-announced Battlefield 3 system requirements, you’ll still need some decent hardware to run L.A. Noire on your rig. Here’s the full list:

  • Operating System: Windows 7/Windows Vista Service Pack 1/ Windows XP Service Pack 3/OnLive for PC or Mac
  • Processor: Intel Dual Core 2.2GHz to Quad Core 3.2GHz/AMD Dual Core 2.4Ghz to Quad Core 3.2Ghz
  • RAM: 2GB to 8GB
  • Hard drive space: 16GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1536MB/Radeon HD 3000 512MB to Radeon HD 6850 1024MB
  • Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9 Compatible
  • DVD Drive

There’s no word on whether this Complete Edition will eventually make it to Xbox 360 and PS3, but I’m sure we’ll see a console after the PC version has had some time breathe. I’m pretty excited by this news, but I have to say, I’d still really like to see Red Dead Redemption come to PC. Alas, it doesn’t sound like that’s going to be happening any time soon, so for now we’ll have to settle for L.A. Noire.
