Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle Has Officially Gone Live [Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle Now Live, Pay What You Want For Frozen Synapse & The Humble Frozenbyte Bundle]

The Humble Indie Bundle has returned! We’ve covered quite a few Humble Bundles here at TFTS, with each one managing to be more exciting than the last. However, this new Humble Bundle is a little bit different in that it isn’t really a bundle at all, save for the bonuses you get if you pay more than the average price.

As the name “Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle” suggests, the latest iteration of the Humble Bundle allows you to name your own price for the indie hit Frozen Synapse. You’re only getting one game with this latest Humble Bundle, but considering that you get to name your own price for an indie game that normally costs $25, I don’t see too many people complaining.

As always, you get to decide what portion of your cash goes to charity, what portion goes to the developers, and what portion goes to the Humble Bundle organizers. Like Humble Bundles of the past, your donation to charity can be split between the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Child’s Play any way you like, and if you’d like to stiff the developers and give all of your money to charity, you can do that do.

Since this Bundle only includes one game and therefore isn’t much of a bundle, the organizers have decided to make the bonus for those who pay more than the average amount available from the start. If you donate more than the average amount (a paltry $4.39 at the time of this writing), you’ll also be given the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle, which includes Trine, Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds Survivor, a prototype version of Jack Claw – a Frozenbyte game that was cancelled before completion – and a pre-order of Frozenbyte’s upcoming game Splot.

So, pay five dollars, get six games. That’s an unbeatable deal, especially when you consider that high-quality games like Trine and Frozen Synapse are included here. At the time of this writing, nearly 50,000 Humble Frozen Synapse Bundles have been sold, and just like every Humble Bundle of the past, Linux users are by far the most generous with their average contribution coming in at $8.04. That doesn’t seem like much, but when you compare it to the Mac and Windows average contribution – which stand at $5.73 and $3.89, respectively – Linux users are outright philanthropists.

If you’re interested in picking up the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle, click the source link below to be taken to the purchase page. You have just over 14 days left to take advantage of this offer, and I wouldn’t be surprised if even more bonuses are added later on for those who contribute more than the average gamer.
