MOG Brings Their Music Streaming To Samsung TV's & Blu-ray Players
It looks like those who either own, or are planning to purchase a Samsung Smart TV or Samsung Blu-ray player will also be able to stream unlimited and on-demand music from MOG. Though, we should state upfront that the ability to stream will come with a monthly charge.

That being said, according to the details we have received from Samsung, the MOG support will arrive on any of their 2010 and 2011 Smart TV’s and Blu-ray players. The newly available MOG app can be found in the Lifestyle section of the Samsung Apps store. In addition, for a limited time, the MOG app will also be included in the What’s New section.
The app itself is free to download, however as we mentioned earlier, actually using it will come with an additional monthly charge. The MOG service will set you back either $4.99 or $9.99 per month depending on which account you want. Or more specifically, depending on where you want access. Nicely done though, the $4.99 per month account will work just fine with the Samsung televisions and Blu-ray players. Further details of the two accounts break down as follows;
- $4.99 per month: Access to MOG on Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players, MOG’s desktop app for Mac, and online at mog.com.
- $9.99 per month: Access to MOG on Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players, online, MOG’s desktop app for Mac, or through the MOG app on iPhone and Android phones, all via a single MOG account.
Moving past the monthly cost and into the service itself, MOG is currently touting access to more than 12 million songs and the streaming will be high-quality — 320kbps. And again, regardless of the account type you choose, both will offer on-demand music that is both unlimited and ad-free.
And lastly, as far as MOG goes, they offer an iOS app and Android app and are also found on other devices such as the Roku set-top boxes, Boxee Box, Sonos and more.
