Amazon's Kindle Fire Tablet To Have Several Magazines Available
Tomorrow is, at last report, still the big day in which Amazon brings out its new tablet, dubbed the Kindle Fire. And when it does come out, it likely won’t come alone thanks to some new reports that say that Amazon’s just signed some deals for content.

Amazon has reportedly signed deals with Meredith, Hearst, and Conde Nast to bring out tablet versions of their various magazines to the new tablet, which in turn covers a variety of waterfronts in terms of magazines and subgenres. You might well think that this was an opportunity for the publishers to leave behind the oppressive shackles of the iPad and its onerous 30 percent cut, but as it turns out, there will be no relief from Amazon, who is said to be demanding the exact same cut as Apple took, though there is some hope they may end up taking less.
So what led these three big publishers to take much the same deal they took with Apple? Turns out, one source said it was due to Amazon’s “marketing and ease of use”, with the publishers looking “very optimistic” about the chances of the Kindle Fire’s success.
And frankly, they may be right. There are actually plenty of good reasons why the Kindle Fire is looking good, and we’ll probably see even more of them tomorrow when the tablet proper gets wheeled out. So optimistic content providers coupled with the inherent qualities of the tablet itself present a very good picture of this tablet’s future opportunities. Even better, the tablet getting shown off tomorrow is only the seven inch variety. There’s set to be a larger version coming out early next year, which makes things even better.
So what do you guys think? Do the addition of a variety of different tablet-form magazines make the Kindle Fire look better to you, or does this not change your mind, no matter what it was looking like before? Either way, we want to hear from you, and the comments section below is waiting to help you do just that.
