iPhone Users Now Have Access To Google+ Hangouts With A New App Update
Google+ is certainly gaining in popularity. It was recently estimated that they now have about 43 million users marking a 30% growth days after they opened to the general public. One of the perks, according to some user opinions, is the quality of the mobile app. Until now only the Android app offered Hangouts. With the most recent update to the iOS app, iPhone users now have it as well.

It makes some sense that Google wold be updating their own apps for their own mobile operating system first. Finally, iPhone users got some Google Plus love as they now have access to Hangouts (a feature allowing users to “hang out” with friends live, even with video chat). They are also seeing some other feature additions:
- Huddle feature renamed “Messenger” and adds photo support
- Can now +1 comments
- More granular controls for changing notification settings
iPhone users on Google+ can now consider themselves caught up with the Android crowd, for now, that is until the next group of updates.
