HTC Vigor Images Appear Online, Arrive With Confirmed Specs [HTC Vigor Images Detail Specs To Include A Dual-Core 1.5GHz Processor, 4.3" Display, Android 2.3.4 & More]

This is certainly not the first time we have heard anything in terms of the HTC Vigor, however this time we do have a few in the wild style images. And perhaps a bit more important, some of those images have managed to confirm most of the specs.

That being said, while this is nice to see. Especially considering these images appear to have not come from the usual Mr. Blurrycam. Yup, these images are nice and clear and offer a good look at the handset. And that brings us to where the specs come from, the images. More specifically, they are coming from the About and the Hardware Information screens.

Anyway, according to the details in the images, the HTC Vigor will feature a 4.3 inch HD 720p touchscreen display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 4G LTE, a 2 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera. Other goodies include Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread along with version 3.5 of HTC’s Sense user interface. In addition, one will also be able to find 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.

All said and done, the HTC Vigor seems like a nice enough handset and one that should perform well enough, but at the same time we are not all that certain it is going to be a game changer. Sure, the display should be nice and having 2.3.4 and Sense 3.5 will be a bonus, but otherwise, aside from a slightly bump in the processor speed — there are similarly spec’d handsets already available. In other words, if you are in need of a new phone and cannot wait any longer, we say go ahead and buy.

Anyway, while it was nice to get the further confirmation in terms of the specs, the images sure do offer a good look. Now we can wait for the rumored October 6th release date and hope that is accurate.

I’m sorry, what? There are similarly specced phones already available? Please direct me to another phone with a 720p display, Sense 3.5, and a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor that is “already available”. I will buy it immediately.
You can’t just dismiss the specs that make phones better and then wonder what makes a device stand out. Those features ARE what makes a phone stand out. That’s what progress is.

    I second that thought!
