Motorola Droid RAZR / Spyder Smartphone Gets Leaked [Motorola to Revive RAZR Handset Line With Android Device Headed to Verizon]
Motorola has quite some interesting mobile devices, smartphone and tablets, in the works. We’ve already seen the upcoming Xoom 2 and the Xoom 2 Media Edition in leaked images and it’s now time to focus on a new Android handset, the Spyder.

One of the important details about the device is its potential retail name, as this baby is expected to sell as the Droid RAZR. That’s right, Motorola appears to be ready to revive the cell phone line it was famous for before the iPhone changed the mobile landscape. To put things in perspective, Motorola sold 130 million different RAZR units and chances are you, or someone you know, used one for quite a while. I know I did.

But that didn’t save Motorola once it became clear what the future of mobile phones will look like and the RAZR family quickly became extinct. Therefore it would be all the more interesting to see the company use the RAZR brand for an Android handset.
On top of the images showing the handset we also have some specs and features for you: 4.3-inch 960 x 540 qHD Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass display, Kevlar casing with splash-guard coating, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera with 1,080p video recording and image stabilization, HD front-facing camera, 4G LTE, Android OS with Webtop capabilities.
According to TIMN the phone has been dubbed as the Droid HD in previous leaks, but whatever Motorola will call it, we’re looking at another capable Android device, at least according to the rumored specifications mentioned above.
In case the device will be sold as the Droid RAZR then it means Verizon customers will be able to order one soon, especially considering its LTE powers. Release dates and pricing details have not been leaked yet, but this may just be the Droid Bionic successor you weren’t expecting. Anyone excited about the imminent arrival of a totally new RAZR phone?
