HTC Raider 4G Smartphone Announced For South Korea
It looks like HTC has unveiled another new smartphone. Of course, it was just yesterday when we saw the HTC Rhyme announced along with word that it will soon be available in the US with Verizon. And well, the latest device is the HTC Raider 4G, which has been announced for South Korea and is being rumored for release in the US with AT&T.

That being said, while we will certainly have to wait for something a bit more official from AT&T in terms of when and how much — we do have a complete set of specs which come courtesy of HTC.
The Raider 4G, as the name implies is a 4G handset. And by 4G, we are not talking about faux-4G (HSPA+) but the real deal with potential uploads of up to 50Mbps and potential downloads of up to 100Mbps. Otherwise, the handset will be sporting a 4.5 inch (540 x 960) qHD touchscreen display and running Gingerbread with HTC’s Sense user interface on top.
Other goodies include a dual-core 1.5Ghz processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI, GPS and the usual array of smartphone sensors including a gyroscope, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
And lastly, the handset is sporting a 1620 mAh battery, measurements of 128.8 x 67 x 11.27mm, a weight of 163.8 grams, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with auto-focus, dual LED flash and 1080p video recording.
All said and done, it looks like the Raider 4G would make a nice addition to the AT&T lineup, especially for those lucky enough to be in one of the recently launched 4G LTE coverage zones. But alas, once again we remind you, as of now the release with AT&T has yet to be officially confirmed by the carrier.
