Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus Hitting T-Mobile, Is It the Galaxy Tab 7.7?
Remember the 7.7-inch Galaxy Tab launched by Samsung at IFA a few weeks ago? You know, the one Apple forced the South Korean giant to remove from its booth right after launch? Well it looks like a new 7-inch tablet may be heading to T-Mobile USA soon, but is it the latest tablet version?

Leaked images of a T-Mobile Galaxy Tab Plus tablet have appeared and they suggest the carrier will get a successor of the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab, launched at IFA 2010, at some point in the near future.
But the device may not be an U.S. version of the Galaxy Tab 7.7. This leaked tablet is expected to run Android 3.2 Honeycomb right out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top, and to offer 4G HSPA+ support. After all, the back of the device is pretty revealing as it clearly mentions T-Mobile and “4G” support. The device will also feature a 1,024 x 600 screen resolution, a Cortex-A9 chip, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, and most probably all the other specs and features sported by its predecessor.

What’s not clear yet is when T-Mobile will launch this new Android tablet and we don’t have any pricing details either. The original Galaxy Tab was expected to be an important iPad contender, but soon after launch reports suggested that Samsung may have misrepresented the number of actual Galaxy Tab sales versus the number of shipped units.
The new device however would run a tablet-only OS, Honeycomb, and could attract a larger consumer base. Of course Apple could always seek an injunction against sales of this Galaxy Tab Plus considering the recent history between the Cupertino-based company and Samsung over various mobile devices, including tablets.
