Facebook & Twitter Go Together Like Peanut Butter & Jelly
Sometimes it just seems funny when we see what would normally be competing social networks working in tandem. MySpace worked with Facebook for a bit and that seemed weird enough (where’s MySpace now, right?). Now Facebook is opening its doors to users updating their Twitter accounts.

The concept isn’t all that weird to be honest. Up until now there has been several ways to send updates to both social networks, including using a Facebook page’s RSS feed to disperse updates or using third-party tools such as HootSuite. Perhaps this is a move from Facebook to draw users away from third-party apps and back to the actual site.
Either way, this move will make some people’s lives easier. Note this update only applies to Facebook PAGES and not regular profiles. Also note that only updates set as “public” can be cross posted.
