HTC Vigor & Samsung Stratosphere Get Release Dates
A few days ago we heard that the HTC Vigor, an Android smartphone most likely set to be unveiled on September 20 during a special HTC even in New York City, may be sold as the Thunderbolt 2, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

The phone is currently being rumored to be named the Droid Incredible HD, a moniker that we’ve heard a long time ago and which was believed to describe the Droid Incredible 2 at the time.

The Droid Incredible HD is said to be launched on October 13, although I would hold on to that grain of salt considering that different sources claim the Vigor is coming out only a week later, on October 20, at the same time with the Samsung Illusion. The same leaked Radio Shack screenshot says that another 4G LTE smartphone, the Samsung Stratosphere is also nearing its official launch as the same leaked image available below is suggesting the Android handset is going to start selling on October 6. The Pantech Breakout is now expected to hit stores on September 22, and cost $149.99 with new two-year contracts or $359.99 contract free, while the LG Enlighten may be launched on September 29.

BlackBerry fans waiting for the Curve 9370 will also be able to purchase it next month, but no launch details are available at this point.
The Vigor, Stratosphere, Curve 9370 and Illusion are listed as “Dfill” or direct fulfillment, which means they may be available for pre-order during those specific weeks. Finally, another Android device expected to be unveiled soon, the Rhyme, an artist formerly known as the Bliss, has been spotted in Verizon’s device management system, right along the Stratosphere, so you should expect them in stores soon.

Pricing details for most of these devices still needs to be confirmed, just like these potential release dates, but while we’re gathering more information let us know what kind of smartphone are you looking to buy (by mobile OS) in the near future by voting in our poll here. What handset would you choose from the ones mentioned above?
