TGS 2011: Final Fantasy X HD Coming To PS Vita, PS3
Well Final Fantasy fans, it looks like the best Final Fantasy game ever is finally getting that HD remake you’ve been asking for. That’s right, Square Enix and Sony have announced Final Fantasy X HD for PS Vita and PS3, so I’ll give you a moment to jump around the room and squeal with joy.

Okay, let’s just get something out of the way here: I’m not dense enough to think that Final Fantasy X is the best Final Fantasy game out there (but neither is Final Fantasy VII, so take that!), but there’s still a large, unruly of mass of homo sapiens living on this rock who love Final Fantasy X, so I suppose that’s why Square Enix and Sony are moving forward with a remake.
Sony says that the remake is meant to celebrate ten years of Final Fantasy games on Sony consoles. At the moment, the only detail that Sony has parted with is that it’ll be in HD on the PS3, but since the PS Vita is packing some powerful innards, Sony says that we can expect to find some impressive graphics in the Vita version as well.
This Final Fantasy X remake is in the works as we speak, so expect to hear more about it soon. In the meantime, keep it tuned here to TFTS for more news from the Tokyo Game Show!

I think you meant this games ten year anniversary since FF games have been on Sony machines much longer than 10 years. :) FF VII alone is almost 15 years old.
