HTC Titan, Samsung Focus Flash & Focus F Windows Phone 7.5 Mango 4G Phones Official

AT&T Announces 4G Mango Plans for Q4 2011, Software Updates Coming to All Existing Devices

AT&T has decided, for whatever reason, to go on record today with its Windows Phone 7.5 Mango handsets. As expected, these devices are coming in the fourth quarter of the year, with the current WP7 handsets being all updated to Mango in the following months as well.

What’s interesting is that AT&T revealed two new Mango smartphones today, besides the HTC Titan that was announced at the beginning of the month by its maker in a special media event in London. And, lets face it, we knew that either the Titan or the Radar, if not both, was heading to AT&T at some point down the road.

Samsung is the other WP7.5 manufacturer and AT&T will have two new devices made by the South Korean giant, the Samsung Focus S and the Samsung Focus Flash.

The Focus S is the successor of the Focus, a WP7 handset launched in fall 2010. The Focus S will feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, “4G-capable” speeds and a profile of only 8.55mm. In case you’re wondering this baby will look and feel somewhat similar to the original Galaxy S II, a device also heading to AT&T later this year.

The Samsung Focus Flash is a smaller handset, which will offer you a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.4GHz processor, 4G support and a 5-megapixel camera. AT&T’s brief press release doesn’t include more details about the device, but it’s pretty clear we’re looking at a budget-friendlier WP7.5 option right here.

The HTC Titan is the 4.7-inch monster we’ve already talked about here at TFTS. It will offer you a 1.5GHz processor, an 8-megaixel camera with dual LED flash, XboxLive games support and, for what it’s worth, AT&T U-Verse Mobile support. Fake 4G support should also be on board as all these devices are dubbed as 4G smartphones.

AT&T did not disclose any pricing details or launch dates at this time for any of these three devices. So keep following us for such details. As for the current Windows Phone 7 AT&T lineup, the HTC HD7S, the HTC Surround, the LG Quantum and the Samsung Focus, we have no release dates for their Mango updates either.
