NBC iPad App Now Offers Full-Length TV Shows For Free

Missed An Episode Of Community? No Problem; Stream It On Your iPad

ABC has long offered full length TV show episodes on the iPad, made free by the fact that the shows have advertisements like on traditional broadcast TV. Following in its steps is NBC, which has just announced the availability of full-length episodes on its iPad app. The NBC shows and the app itself are completely free.

NBC offers a decent selection of shows (including Community and Parks and Recreation) for its iPad app. If you’re into the network’s scripted TV shows, the five most recent episodes for every title are available for steaming. Late night with Jimmy Falon fans are luckier – you have the eight most recent shows to stream. But luckiest of all are fans of America’s Got Talent who can stream every single episode for free.

ABC is one of Hulu‘s content providers along with ABC and Fox. Only time will tell if both NBC and ABC offering free iPad apps and content would affect Hulu’s subscription numbers.
