Pico & Android Come Together To Make One Awesome Pocket Projector

The Tursion TS-102 Is A Pico Projector Sporting The Android Operating System Inside

We’re still waiting for a real Android smartphone with the built in ability of a projector because we all know how absolutely cool that would be. For now we’ll have to live with the opposite: an Android built into a pocket projector. Not exactly the same but still quite awesome.

What we’re talking about is the Tursion TS-102. This marvel of a Pico projector contains the likes of a 624GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.1 OS, built-in exterior touchpad for navigation, and 8GB of internal memory. Don’t worry, it doesn’t stop there:

  • It’s capable of projecting an 800×600 image up to 100 inches at 20 lumens
  • WiFi
  • microSD card slot
  • Up to 80 minutes on a single charge

An Android with projection capabilities would still be cooler but we’ll accept this as a reasonable compromise. You can get your own Tursion TS-102 Pico projector from Amazon for the steep price tag of $449 if you can justify the cost.
