HTC Holiday Caught in the Wild With AT&T 4G LTE Powers Turned On
HTC may have announced two brand new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphones last week, the Titan and the Radar, but it didn’t say anything about all the other Android handsets it’s rumored to launch in the near future.

We’ve shown you various unconfirmed HTC Android smartphones so far, the Vigor, the Ruby / Amaze 4G, the Runnymede / Sensation successor and the Holiday and today we have a new leak for you regarding the latter model.
The Holiday season must be getting closer and closer as this AT&T-bound device has been spotted, again, in the wild. The smartphone is expected to come with 4G LTE support on board, as seen in the image below, and to feature a 4.5-inch touchscreen qHD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel back camera and Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with Sense 3.0 UI on top.

This device has been tested in the Dallas/Forth Worth area and, for what it’s worth right now, it managed to offer 29Mbps download speeds. That number will certainly go down once more and more people start using AT&T’s young LTE network.
AT&T is still trailing behind Verizon, when it comes to 4G LTE deployment, but the mobile operator is expected to have some 15 markets ready for Long Term Evolution devices by the end of the year. The carrier has already launched an LTE-ready data card and an LTE mobile hotspot, not to mention the HTC Jetstream, previously known as the Puccini, an LTE Android Honeycomb tablet.
The Holiday is expected to be the first LTE Android smartphone to be available from the carrier although actual launch dates and prices have not been leaked yet. The phone is expected to hit AT&T in the “next few months,” which means we’re probably going to see it in even more leaks and rumors.
Are you planning to buy an LTE Android smartphone soon? Will you be waiting for the Holiday or are you going for the Droid Bionic this week?
