Sony Announces Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune & Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Bundle Release Date [Uncharted Greatest Hits Bundle Lands Next Month, Just In Time For You To Get Caught Up On The Series Before Uncharted 3 Launches]

So, you heard about Sony’s decision to slash the price on the PS3 and you went out and bought one of your own, just in time to experience Uncharted 3 when it launches in November. There’s just one problem: you haven’t played Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune or Uncharted 2: Among Thieves yet, so how can you possibly jump in with Uncharted 3?

Luckily, Sony’s got your back. They’ve just revealed the release date of the Uncharted Greatest Hits bundle, which packages the first two Uncharted games together for a mere $40. It gets even better though, because you’ll be getting the Uncharted 2 Game of the Year Edition in this bundle, which is bursting at the seams with additional content. Your purchase nets you an Uncharted “Super Voucher,” which gives you all of the DLC from the Uncharted 2 Game of the Year Edition as well as a couple of Uncharted 3-themed bonuses – a new Uncharted 3 avatar and dynamic theme, to be precise.

The bundle pack will release on September 6th, which gives you a little less than two months to get caught up before Uncharted 3 releases on November 1st. Make no mistake, if you missed out on the first two Uncharted titles, you need to buy this bundle pack.
