The long-awaited iPhone 5 is rumored to come out by October 9, affirming other rumors about an early October release. While we’re sure we’ll be seeing some nifty new features added to the handset, one might think them plain, prosaic even, compared the concept features imagined in this video.

Created by AatmaStudio.com, this iPhone 5 concept video that went viral recently shows the iPhone as a device of the future. It starts by showing off an iPhone mock-up that’s almost as thin as a cracker. And then a rotatable laser keyboard that pops out of the screen, with pinch-to-zoom and brightness adjustment capabilities. Finally, it shows the iPhone as a device capable of holographic displays for some screen-less movie watching and gaming times.

Unfortunately, I think it’d take some time for these features to be even possible. But if you were to design the next iPhone iteration, what futuristic feature do you want to see?
