Are Apple Stores Designed By Obsessive Compulsive Artists?
Everyone knows how important design is to Apple. Just look at every device they’ve ever made. Sure, some are prettier than others, but you must admit that an unorthodox amount of time and effort is given to design. It is because of this obsession that has brought us the likes of the iPhone. Did you know that the same amount of obsessive compulsiveness is inserted into the structural design of Apple stores?

Yes, the outside sidewalk is so carefully designed that the whole thing comes together making Apple stores look symmetrical from outside. infoAppleStore gives us a few more details:
Store window panels and inside stone floor tiles all are dimensioned and positioned to present a symmetrical appearance. In this case, the master element is the stone floor tiles, which are 76 centimeters square (about 30 inches). The glass window panes are then manufactured to a multiple of that dimension.

If only we each could pay this much attention to detail in our everyday life.
