Rumor: Modern Warfare 3 Will Support 32 Player Match Ups [Short-Lived Youtube Video Leaks Details On Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Multiplayer Mode, Including The Names Of 13 Multiplayer Maps]
There rumor mill’s been working overtime today, producing a whopper of a Modern Warfare 3 rumor for all of us to speculate about. A 30-second video of Modern Warfare 3‘s multiplayer menu was posted to Youtube yesterday, and even though Activision has since brought out the copyright claims to have the video taken down, it was up long enough for some unannounced features to be spotted and subsequently posted to the internet.

First up, it looks like at least some of Modern Warfare 3‘s multiplayer modes will support 32 player matches, up from Black Ops‘ and Modern Warfare 2‘s 18 player battles. These 32 player match ups will take place, apparently, on 13 different multiplayer maps: Carbon, Coast, Dome, Exchange, Hardhat, Interchange, Lambeth, Meteora, Mogadishu, Paris, Plaza, Radar and Seatown.
Finally, an unannounced game mode was unearthed in the video. Bomb Mode is its name, and it appears to be a variant on Team Deathmatch, though the objective of Bomb Mode is still unknown. While Activision refuses to comment on this development, it’s pretty likely that at least some of these features and modes were meant to be revealed at Call of Duty XP this weekend, so keep an ear tuned to the expo for more information about Modern Warfare 3‘s multiplayer mode.
