LG E91 & LG D237IPS To Get First Appearance At IFA 2011 Show
More news about the upcoming IFA 2011 show, folks, as the current word now suggests that LG has a pair of LCD computer monitors looking to make their debut out at the Berlin show. The LG E91 and the LG D237IPS will both make their appearances, but it’s more than just the complexity of the names that separate the two.

The LG E91 is an ultra-slim monitor (you can actually see it pictured above) which tops out at a meager 7.2 mm thick. It uses a hanger-style stand which allows the whole thing to be precisely adjusted for appropriate viewing angles. It’s set to offer up a 23 inch display showing at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a contrast ratio of fully 10 million to one.

The LG D237IPS, meanwhile (pictured directly above), will bring in LG’s Film Pattern Retarder 3D display capability, giving you glassesless 3D along with an IPS panel. It’s been certified Flicker-Free, which will make the whole experience a lot easier on your head and stomach, plus it offers up the same 23 inch size at 1920 x 1080 resolution as the E91, but it will do so at a color depth of 16.7 million colors and a five million to one contrast ratio.
There aren’t any definite pricing details announced with these, sadly, nor any release dates, so when you’ll be able to get your hands on one of these sweet new LG monitors is as yet quite unclear. However, you can probably figure they’ll make their way out fairly soon, as they’re hitting a major trade show directly and of course, holiday shopping seasons are approaching with impressive speed. True story: I actually spotted Christmas trees in one store a few days back.
So what do you guys think of these two new monitors? Want to see more of how they work? Think you’ll throw over your current model for a slice of impressive 3D or an aesthetically impressive hanger monitor? Either way, we want to know what you think about these, so head on down to the comments section and let us know what you think about the pair!
