Team Ninja Considering Developing PS Vita Game After Ninja Gaiden 3 Launch
The folks at Team Ninja currently have their hands full with making sure that they put out a solid Ninja Gaiden game without the guidance of Tomonobu Itagaki (and if recent news is any indication, they’re having a difficult time), but they’re already looking toward the future of the Ninja Gaiden series, telling the UK PlayStation Blog that they’re considering a Gaiden game for the PS Vita.

According to Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi, they’ve already been given a PlayStation Vita to play with, but they’re waiting until Ninja Gaiden 3 is on shelves before they decide whether or not they want to make a game for Sony‘s new handheld:
We’ve received a PlayStation Vita system and are thinking about it. Having said that, right now we’re focused on Ninja Gaiden 3 for PS3, and after that’s complete we’ll start to look at ideas such as bringing out Ninja Gaiden on PS Vita because of course we’d like to expand the series.
If Team Ninja does, in fact, decide to bring a Ninja Gaiden game to the PS Vita, I wouldn’t get my hopes up for one that’s unique to the Vita. Instead, you can pretty much bank on the possibility of the PS Vita getting a handheld version of Ninja Gaiden 3. Only time will tell, though, so keep it tuned here to TFTS for more details!
