PAX Prime 2011: Halo 4 To Start The "Reclaimer Trilogy"
It’s no secret that Microsoft and 343 Industries are planning for Halo 4 to be the start of a new Halo trilogy in the way that the first three “main” Halo games were a trilogy. But, we’ve gotten a new bit of information from PAX. At a panel at PAX Prime, 343 Industries has revealed that the new trilogy will be called the “Reclaimer Trilogy”.

What’s a Reclaimer? According to the Halo wikia, it’s somebody who activates the Halos. This means that we’re probably in store for more Covenant, more Forerunner tech and probably more Flood, as well. The folks at 343 Industries went on to say at the panel that they want to sell “the fantasy that Master Chief is an 800-pound hero that is part tank, part jet fighter.”
Remember that it was also revealed earlier at PAX Prime that Forza 4 will have a Halo Warthog in Auto Vista mode, and that it’ll be the high resolution model from Halo 4. That also kinda confirms that Master Chief and Cortana will be somewhere within range of the UNSC, and not in the far reaches of the universes out of reach of mankind.
As you may be aware, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, the remake of the first Halo game, will be this year’s holiday Halo release, while Halo 4 will be 2012’s holiday release, and will likely be the number #1 big triple-A game to anchor Microsoft’s holiday Xbox lineup for next year. Anybody looking forward to Halo 4? Tell us about it in the comments section.
