Best Buy to Get More HP Touchpad Stocks This Week [Didn't Get Your $99 TouchPad Because Stores Ran Out or Cancelled Orders? Here's Your Chance!]

The HP TouchPad has been selling like hotcakes since HP announced it was dropping webOS and its hardware business (at least from its main business focus). At $99, it’s a steal, and is probably the best inexpensive tablet around. Stores have all but run out, but not for long.

HP’s business restructuring announcement resulted in a fire sale, with the 16 GB TouchPad retailing for $99, and the 32 GB model at $149. Other markets around the world are also seeing steep discounts. But with big discounts come big demand, and so many stores are already out of stock. HP has promised to ship more units soon, although buyers might be hard-pressed to find a unit. But before you think of heading to the secondary markets (eBay, Amazon) to get your HP TouchPad at an inflated price, you might want to check out Best Buy if they’ll have stocks this week.

Sources say that Best Buy is restocking on HP TouchPad units, and will be able to process and ship orders within the coming week. For better organization, stores will be issuing tickets so that processing HP TouchPad purchases will not result in crowding. Interested buyers can sign up, and will then be notified once the units arrive.

If you missed your chance to buy the HP TouchPad earlier, will you make a reservation and purchase this time?
