Epic Games Reveals Gridlock Multiplayer Map For Gears Of War 3

So, here we are, less than a month before Gears of War 3 is released to the rabid Gears fans, and Epic is still revealing new things about the game. Today, they announced that Gridlock will be the final multiplayer map making it into Gears of War 3, bringing the number of available maps to 10.

Of course, the fact that Gridlock will make it into Gears of War 3 shouldn’t surprise anybody, considering it was in both Gears of War and Gears of War 2. Of course, Gridlock will get somewhat of a revamp before it appears in Gears of War 3, with Epic saying in a press release that there will be new weapon spawns found within and that it’ll be getting some graphical polish this time around.

Gridlock will be joining the previously revealed Checkout, Drydock, Hotel, Mercy, Old Town, Overpass, Sandbar, Thrashball, and Trenches maps, meaning that Gears of War should ship with plenty of multiplayer content next month. Gears of War 3 launches on September 20th for Xbox 360, and I know this may be a stupid question, but who’s picking it up?
