Does The God Of The Internet Own Your Soul?
We’ve heard how research shows how addicted the Internet and smartphones can be. Those addictions can have a strong influence on the decisions we make. Question is, are we so addicted that we are willing to sell our very souls to the Internet? One article explains how we have perhaps given up too much control.

The article mentions three ultra-popular social sites that claim just about absolute control over content you upload or post. Facebook “owns your image” by having rights over any images or videos you upload. Twitter “borrows your thoughts” by being able to do pretty much whatever they want with content you post there. Finally, Google “knows where you are” referring to location-aware tech relating to GPS and your mobile phone.
These are three of the larger companies out there which is probably why they are the only ones mentioned. Make yourself aware of terms of services before you get into using them and post your personal information accordingly.
