Wake Up To The Voice Of A Stranger With Talk O' Clock

Talk O' Clock Uses The Power Of Social Networking To Make Sure You Get Up In The Morning - Android & iOS Apps Coming

Some people have a really hard time getting up the morning. They try anything from multiple alarm settings going off at different intervals to strange alarm clock devices that roll around the room making you chase it to shut it off. Some people make use of wake-up call services but that can mean the same person waking you each morning. What if you could have a different stranger call you each morning?

Talk O’ Clock is a web service that makes being woke up in the morning a social thing. The service uses social networking to make sure a complete stranger wakes you in the morning. All you have to do is register on the site using your Facebook account (closed beta but supposedly easy to get invited), and you can set what time you get the wake-up call. You’ll be added to a queue and a stranger will call you up (don’t worry because they have a robot to fill in any blanks).

You can feel free to participate in the calling as well. Android and iOS apps are on the way. Who knew a wake-up call service could be so, um, interesting (ie. weird). Personally the last thing I want to do in the morning is to be social, but that’s me.
