TazPad Is First Android Tablet To Have Fingerprint Authentication

TazPad Also Has NFC & ZigBee Connection, Making It An Ideal Tablet For Businesses

TazPad is an Android tablet that differentiates itself from the numerous other Android tablets in the market with its number of business-related features. The tablet has a seven-inch screen, camera, GPS location, and WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. But aside from the usual tablet specifications, TazPad is equipped with some novel features.

The device has long been touted as an NFC tablet, giving it the capacity to accept payments on a business setting. It also has ZigBee connectivity on top of WiFi, so if you’re using that standard to connect to a back-end system, then you can do so. But the newest addition to its set of features is the highly-secure fingerprint sensor module. The sensor is mounted on top of the TazPad, and you can use it for identity verification whenever the need arises.

There are other tablets aimed at businesses, however, if the TazPad isn’t to your liking. These include the Panasonic BizPad, the new Motorola tablet, Cisco Cius, and Lenovo Thinkpad tablet among others.
