HTC Omega Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Smartphone Official Pictures Leaked [Upcoming HTC Omega WP7 Handset Available in Pictures, to be Announced September 1]

HTC is rumored to announce two new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango handsets in just a few days from now, on September 1 during a media event in London. The devices in question are named the Omega and the Eternity and today we have the a leaked press image showing the first one.

The HTC Omega is rumored to sport a 3.8-inch touchscreen SLCD display 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 SoC processor, 512MB RAM, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, front-facing camera with video chatting capabilities, possibly Skype integration, DLNA and micro-HDMI support, and, naturally, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango expected to bring the handset to life.

The HTC Eternity is still missing in action, but since we’re getting to take a look at the official image of the Omega chances are the Eternity pictures are going to hit the web in the very near future, quite possibly before the company makes the phones official. The Eternity is a slightly bigger phone that will offer you a larger 4.5- or 4.7-inch AMOLED display but otherwise essentially the same features of the Omega.

Pricing details and actual release dates, for either the USA or Europe are not available right now for any of these two devices, but the Omega and the Eternity will be made official in just a few days.

HTC’s September 1 is said to be a Windows Phone 7 event only, or better said a Mango one, as the company is rumored not to launch any new Android devices on that occasion. But while HTC may have WP7 plans in mind for the first day of September, Samsung will be announcing some Android and bada devices on the same date, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Wave 3, respectively.
