Borderlands Marked Down 75% As Steam's Weekend Deal

I know that I like to joke around a lot in the gaming-related articles I post here at TFTS, but make no mistake folks, what I’m about to tell you is serious business. Gearbox‘s wonderful FPSRPG Borderlands has been marked down by a whopping 75% as Steam‘s Weekend Deal, and all of the details can be found just past the break.

If you’re not that interested in all of Borderlands‘ DLC, then you can buy the vanilla game this weekend for only $4.99. Likewise, the Game of the Year edition – which features all of the DLC – has been marked down by 75% as well, bringing its price to a cool $7.49. Finally, if you already have Borderlands but you’re missing some DLC, all of it has been discounted by (you guessed it!) 75%, and each can be had for $2.49 a piece.

I first played Borderlands shortly after it launched on Xbox 360, and I had an absolute blast. I bought most of the DLC before my Xbox 360 finally bit the bullet, and while Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot was nothing to write home about (seriously, skip it), The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned was a pretty solid offering and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx was one of the best DLCs I’ve ever purchased. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to check out Claptrap‘s Robot Revolution, but thanks to this sale, I soon will!
