iPhone 5 Pre-order & Release Date Allegedly Leaked

Here we go again, another day goes by and we have a new iPhone 5 launch date for you. At this point everyone with enough knowledge of the way Apple does business and with a subscription to a tech establishment that keeps close tabs on all the leaks and rumors related to the next-gen iPhone, such as ourselves, could make up potential release date for the new iOS handset as long as they keep everything scheduled for September or October.

Just last week we saw various “leaked” dates for Apple’s upcoming keynote, meant to cover the launch of the new iPhone, but also for the expected launch of the device. At this point everyone agrees that Apple could announce the new device in early September with sales expected to start by the end of the month or in early October, it’s the actual days of these months that we’re still waiting confirmation for.

Today we find out, via 9to5mac, that Apple may have already decided to kick-off the iPhone 4S/5 pre-order on September 29 or September 30, a Thursday or a Friday and that the actual launch date could be scheduled for October 7 or October 14. Of these rumored dates, Apple is said to be more likely to start pre-orders on the last day of September with actual sales starting on October 7, a date present in previous iPhone launch rumors.

Should those dates coincide with actual Apple plans, then we could see Apple unveil the new iPhone up to two weeks ahead of the pre-order phase. Comparatively, the iPhone 4 was announced on June 7 2010 with pre-orders starting on June 15 and in-store sales scheduled a week later, on June 24.

Of course we wouldn’t be surprised to hear new potential release date for Apple’s upcoming iPhone model or models, as Apple is still rumored to launch not one, but two different fifth-generation iOS smartphones, so keep following us via Facebook, Twitter and the feed for more detailed iPhone 4S/5 coverage.
