Facebook Updates Mobile Security; Adds Mobile Password Reset & Social Reporting
Facebook recently announced the availability of a couple of mobile security updates that will let you perform certain tasks (which were only previously available on Facebook’s desktop web site) on your mobile devices. The added features on mobile Facebook are Social Reporting and Password Reset.

Mobile Password Reset does what its name indicates – it enables you to reset your password on your mobile device. You can prove your identity by inputting any of these: your email or phone number, your Facebook username, or your name and a friend’s name. Facebook is also porting the Social Reporting feature to mobile devices. It allows you to send a request to another user who uploaded your photo to remove it if you didn’t like it for any reason. According to Facebook, 70% of those who received a social report notice comply with the request.

Facebook is rolling out these updates to all mobile devices after receiving feedback following this initial testing phase.
