Samsung Further Details Galaxy Tab 10.1 TouchWiz Roll-Out Plans
Samsung announced a public event for August 3rd a short while back and promised that they were going to unveil the details of a “major” software update. Well, as it turned out, that event was going to detail the update that is set to bring the TouchWiz user interface for Galaxy Tab 10.1 users.

The August 3rd event is broken down into two parts, an invitation only portion and the open to the public portion. The good news here, anyone that attends the open to the public portion will be able to upgrade their tablet on-site. Of course, that is assuming they have already purchased a Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Anyway, while this was good news for those in and around New York City, it was sort of a bum deal for those not in the area and not able to attend. After all, Samsung had yet to announce when everyone else was going to be able to get this update. And we only say that because we understand how impatient users can be when it comes time for a software update — everyone wants them yesterday.
Well, flash forward till today and Samsung has offered up a press release with the details that Galaxy Tab 10.1 users have been waiting for — the update will be available beginning Friday August 5th. In other words, you only have to wait two days after the event. Furthermore, the update will arrive over-the-air.
That being said, for those who missed the earlier news, this update will bring the TouchWiz UX user interface along with Adobe Flash Player 10.3 and the redesigned Samsung Media Hub service. Breaking the TouchWiz portion down a bit further and we learn that it will have;
