Vodafone UK Launches 555 Blue Smartphone With Dedicated FaceBook Button
UK already has FaceBook phones in the form of the HTC ChaCha and the HTC Salsa. Adding to the list is Vodafone’s new 555 Blue. And just like the aforementioned HTC phones, the 555 Blue comes equipped with a dedicated FaceBook button.

Unlike the HTC ChaCha and Salsa, the 555 Blue isn’t an Android phone. It instead runs a proprietary operating system with features that revolve around FaceBook. And by that, we mean you’ll be prompted to log in to FaceBook as soon as you open the phone. Unfortunately, your browsing will be limited by one important thing – the lack of 3G and WiFi.

The phone is pending release on August in the UK for a price of around $98. The phone costs a lot lower than the ChaCha and the Salsa, but it remains to be seen if that factor is enough to convince consumers to get the phone even without 3G or WiFi.
