Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network Roll-Out Will Continue On August 18th

Verizon Announces Upcoming 4G LTE Network Roll-Out Plans, Next Batch Will Go Live In Mid-August

Verizon began rolling out their 4G LTE network back on December 5th of last year and assuming everything goes according to plan, they hope to have everything complete and in-place by the end of 2013. Needless to say, at the present time Verizon has 4G LTE coverage available in 102 markets and as of August 18th they will have quite a few more added.

With that, Verizon has ten 4G LTE compatible devices at this time including the LG Revolution, Samsung Droid Charge and the HTC Thunderbolt as well as the recently announced and soon to be available Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet and the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr notebook.

Anyway, without further adieu, here are the lucky areas that will have 4G LTE Verizon coverage come August 18th.

  • Worcester County, Massachusetts including Auburn, Berlin, Bolton, Charlton, Grafton, Harvard, Holden, Hopedale, Leicester, Millbury, Milford, Northborough, Oxford, Paxton, Shrewsbury, Southborough, Sterling, West Boylston, Westborough, Worcester
  • MetroWest and Springfield, Massachusetts including Ashland, Bellingham, Dover, Foxborough, Franklin, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Lincoln, Marlborough, Maynard, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Norfolk, Plainville, Sharon, Sherborn, Stow, Sudbury, Tyngsborough, Walpole, Wayland, West Bridgewater, Westford, Wrentham
  • Syracuse, New York
  • Albany, New York

  • Salt Lake City, Utah including residents in Utah County from the Salt Lake County line south to Hwy 77, including the cities of Provo, Orem, Highland, Lehi and Lindon.

  • Cincinnati, Ohio including areas such as Hamilton, Eastgate/Batavia, Lebanon and Middletown.
  • Denver/Fort Collins, Colorado including customers from Vine Drive in the north to 57thStreet in the south and County Road 5 in the east to Horsetooth Reservoir in the west.
  • Warren, New Jersey including Nyack, West Nyack, Orangeburg, Pearl River and Spring Valley as well as residents in areas such as Rockland County south of Interstate 287.
  • Tucson, Arizona including the areas located between Interstate 10 and Harrison Road, north to Sunrise Drive and south to Valencia Road, including the Tucson International Airport.
