NASA iPad App Makes Learning Science Fun
A new iPad app from NASA might just incite interest from even the most scientifically disinterested. The free app will allow people to download visuals in the form of stills, high-res short films, and even short stories straight from NASA’s Earth Science research findings. The visual and written stories will tackle plant life both on land and sea, Earth’s dynamic systems, and the issue of climate change.

All the visuals to be distributed by the app will come from real satellite data and image feeds. If you want an idea of what you’ll see, check out the image below – it’s from NASA’s Scientific Visualization Studio at Goddard Space Flight Center. NASA began working on this app (for the students, educators, and just about anyone who will download every free app they could) way back when the Apple iPad was first released.

NASA made headlines recently for the space shuttle program‘s last manned mission.
