Verizon Announces Their First 4G LTE Notebook, The HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr [HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr Notebook Coming To Verizon On July 28th, Will Bring 11.6" Display, 4G LTE Support & A $599.99 Price Tag]
It looks like a rather nice day in terms of 4G LTE device announcements for Verizon. Coming a bit earlier this morning we told you that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet was coming on July 28th. And well, it looks like the tablet will be joined by a 4G LTE compatible notebook.

The model is the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr, which some may remember back from January. Yup, it seems this one was originally unveiled during CES. That being said, while that seems like a rather long time from announcement to release, we cannot really fault Verizon as they never told us when it would be available or how much it would cost back in January.
But putting that past aside, the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr is going to be priced at $599.99 and will be available this Thursday along with the Samsung tablet. In terms of specs, here is what the Pavilion dm1-3010nr has to offer;
- 4G LTE – customers can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G mobile broadband coverage areas
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
- 11.6-inch High-definition HP BrightView LED Display (1366 x 768)
- 1.60 GHz AMD Dual-Core Processor E-350
- 320 GB hard drive with HP ProtectSmart hard drive protection
- Memory: 2 GB DDR3 RAM
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- VGA webcam with integrated digital microphone
- Multi-format digital media card reader for SD cards and multimedia cards
- Weight: 3.52 lbs
Additionally, the Pavilion dm1-3010nr is also noted as having HP’s CoolSense Technology which is said to combine “advanced hardware and intelligent cooling software for a notebook that feels noticeably cooler.”
And with that, a 4G LTE notebook user is going to want to stay connected while on the go and that means they will be looking towards Verizon for a data plan. In this case there are two that will be available and those include the 5GB plan for $50 per month and the 10GB plan for $80 per month.
